Luke 19:21

Greek	ἐφοβούμην γάρ σε, ὅτι ἄνθρωπος αὐστηρὸς εἶ,plugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigεἰμί greek εἰμί is the first person singular verb for “to be” (εἶναι [the infinitive form] = “to be”). It an irregular verb, and, like English, changes significantly between person and tense. For example εἰμί is the word for am and ἦν is the word for was, e.g. αἴρεις ὃ οὐκ ἔθηκας, καὶplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigκαί greek Meaning * And * Also * Both * Even * Too * So Is a conjunction that connects single words or terms or sentences. IT is most frequently translated as “and” θερίζεις ὃ οὐκ ἔσπειρας.
ESV	for I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man. You take what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.'
NIV	I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.'
NLT	I was afraid because you are a hard man to deal with, taking what isn't yours and harvesting crops you didn't plant.'
KJV	For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
