Galatians 4:31

Greek	διό, ἀδελφοί, οὐκ ἐσμὲνplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigεἰμί greek εἰμί is the first person singular verb for “to be” (εἶναι [the infinitive form] = “to be”). It an irregular verb, and, like English, changes significantly between person and tense. For example εἰμί is the word for am and ἦν is the word for was, e.g. παιδίσκης τέκνα ἀλλὰ τῆςplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigὁ greek The definite article ἐλευθέρας.
ESV	So, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman.
NIV	Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.
NLT	So, dear brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman; we are children of the free woman.
KJV	So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
