John 9:4

Greek	ἡμᾶς δεῖ ἐργάζεσθαι τὰplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigὁ greek The definite article ἔργα τοῦplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigὁ greek The definite article πέμψαντός ἡμᾶς ἕως ἡμέρα ἐστίν·plugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigεἰμί greek εἰμί is the first person singular verb for “to be” (εἶναι [the infinitive form] = “to be”). It an irregular verb, and, like English, changes significantly between person and tense. For example εἰμί is the word for am and ἦν is the word for was, e.g. ἔρχεται νὺξ ὅτε οὐδεὶς δύναται ἐργάζεσθαι.
ESV	We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.
NIV	As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.
NLT	We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work.
KJV	I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
