Hebrew	אָר֣וּר הָאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר בִּשַּׂ֤ר אֶתplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigאֵת hebrew The Hebrew אֵת word does not have a corresponding word in English. In Hebrew, it is a marker of the accusative, i.e. the word following it is the object of the sentence. For example, in Genesis 1:1 the word is preceded by בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים ( אָבִי֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר יֻֽלַּד לְךָ֖ בֵּ֣ן זָכָ֑ר שַׂמֵּ֖חַ שִׂמֳּחָֽהוּ
ESV	Cursed be the man who brought the news to my father, “A son is born to you,” making him very glad.
NIV	Cursed be the man who brought my father the news, who made him very glad, saying, “A child is born to you-a son!”
NLT	I curse the messenger who told my father, “Good news– you have a son!”
