Deuteronomy 24:16

Hebrew	לֹֽא יוּמְת֤וּ אָבוֹת֙ עַל בָּנִ֔ים וּבָנִ֖ים לֹא יוּמְת֣וּ עַל אָב֑וֹת אִ֥יש בְּחֶטְא֖וֹ יוּמָֽתוּ
ESV	“Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.
NIV	Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin.

KJV	The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
