Exodus 40:30

In Hebrew, it is a marker of the accusative, i.e. the word following it is the object of the sentence. For example, in Genesis 1:1 the word is preceded by בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים ( הַכִּיֹּ֔ר בֵּֽין אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וּבֵ֣ין הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וַיִּתֵּ֥ן שָׁ֛מָּה מַ֖יִם לְרָחְצָֽה

NIV	He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing,
