Exodus 40:7

In Hebrew, it is a marker of the accusative, i.e. the word following it is the object of the sentence. For example, in Genesis 1:1 the word is preceded by בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים ( הַכִּיֹּ֔ר בֵּֽין אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וּבֵ֣ין הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְנָתַתָּ֥ שָׁ֖ם מָֽיִם
ESV	and place the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
NIV	place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it.
NLT	Set the washbasin between the Tabernacle and the altar, and fill it with water.
