Isaiah 41:24

Hebrew	הֵן אַתֶּ֣ם מֵאַ֔יִן וּפָעָלְכֶ֖ם מֵאָ֑פַע תּוֹעֵבָ֖ה יִבְחַ֥ר בָּכֶֽם
ESV	Behold, you are nothing, and your work is less than nothing; an abomination is he who chooses you.
NIV	But you are less than nothing and your works are utterly worthless; he who chooses you is detestable.
NLT	But no! You are less than nothing and can do nothing at all. Those who choose you pollute themselves.
LXX	ὅτι πόθεν ἐστὲplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigεἰμί greek εἰμί is the first person singular verb for “to be” (εἶναι [the infinitive form] = “to be”). It an irregular verb, and, like English, changes significantly between person and tense.
