Proverbs 19:22

Hebrew	תַּאֲוַ֣ת אָדָ֣ם חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְטֽוֹב רָ֝שׁ מֵאִ֥ישׁ כָּזָֽב
ESV	What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar.
NIV	What a man desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar.
NLT	Loyalty makes a person attractive. It is better to be poor than dishonest.
LXX	καρπὸς ἀνδρὶ ἐλεημοσύνη κρείσσων δὲplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigδέ greek δέ is a conjunction that can mean “but” or “and” or “also” or “moreover”. It is a word that is used very frequently in the New Testament, and is often unexpressed and not translated in English. πτωχὸς δίκαιος ἢ πλούσιος ψεύστης
