Job 6:17

Hebrew	בְּ֭עֵת יְזֹרְב֣וּ נִצְמָ֑תוּ בְּ֝חֻמּ֗וֹ נִדְעֲכ֥וּ מִמְּקוֹמָֽם
ESV	When they melt, they disappear; when it is hot, they vanish from their place.
NIV	but that cease to flow in the dry season, and in the heat vanish from their channels.
NLT	But when the hot weather arrives, the water disappears. The brook vanishes in the heat.
LXX	καθὼς τακεῖσα θέρμης γενομένης οὐκ ἐπεγνώσθη ὅπερ ἦνplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigεἰμί greek εἰμί is the first person singular verb for “to be” (εἶναι [the infinitive form] = “to be”). It an irregular verb, and, like English, changes significantly between person and tense. For example εἰμί is the word for am and ἦν is the word for was, e.g.
KJV	What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place.
