Joshua 8:34

Hebrew	וְאַֽחֲרֵי כֵ֗ן קָרָא֙ אֶתplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigאֵת hebrew The Hebrew אֵת word does not have a corresponding word in English. In Hebrew, it is a marker of the accusative, i.e. the word following it is the object of the sentence. For example, in Genesis 1:1 the word is preceded by בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים ( כָּל דִּבְרֵ֣י הַתּוֹרָ֔ה הַבְּרָכָ֖ה וְהַקְּלָלָ֑ה כְּכָל הַכָּת֖וּב בְּסֵ֥פֶר הַתּוֹרָֽה
ESV	And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessing and the curse, according to all that is written in the Book of the Law.
NIV	Afterward, Joshua read all the words of the law-the blessings and the curses-just as it is written in the Book of the Law.
NLT	Joshua then read to them all the blessings and curses Moses had written in the Book of Instruction.
