Proverbs 10:28

Hebrew	תּוֹחֶ֣לֶת צַדִּיקִ֣ים שִׂמְחָ֑ה וְתִקְוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים תֹּאבֵֽד
ESV	The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.
NIV	The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.
NLT	The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing.
LXX	ἐγχρονίζει δικαίοις εὐφροσύνη ἐλπὶς δὲplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigδέ greek δέ is a conjunction that can mean “but” or “and” or “also” or “moreover”. It is a word that is used very frequently in the New Testament, and is often unexpressed and not translated in English. ἀσεβῶν ὄλλυται
